PA Day Coming Up? 8 Ways to Keep the Kids Entertained in St. Catharines

Looking for things to do with kids in St. Catharines this PA Day? Monday, October 26, 2026, is the perfect opportunity to step away from the usual school-day routine and plan something exciting for the family. But if the thought of keeping the kids entertained all day already sounds exhausting, you are not alone!

The good news? You do not need to plan an elaborate day trip or spend hours searching for activities. From bouncing on trampolines and tackling ninja obstacles to exploring interactive games and glow-in-the-dark mini golf, AeroSports St. Catharines offers plenty of ways to turn a day off school into an adventure.

Whether you are looking for indoor activities for kids, a fun family outing, or somewhere for children to burn off some energy, here are eight ways to make the most of PA Day in St. Catharines.

1. Visit AeroSports St. Catharines for a Day of Indoor Adventure

When school is out, finding an activity that keeps everyone entertained can be a challenge. AeroSports St. Catharines brings multiple indoor attractions together, giving families different ways to play, compete, and explore in one location.

Instead of spending the day moving between different venues, your family can choose from trampoline activities, interactive challenges, arcade games, and more.

It is an option worth considering for parents who want an active outing without depending on the weather.

2. Let the Kids Bounce on the Trampolines

Some days, children simply need room to move. Trampolines offer an energetic way to jump, bounce, and enjoy active play away from the usual school routine.

At AeroSports, trampoline time can be a highlight for kids who enjoy physical activities and trying new moves. It is also an opportunity for parents to trade another day of screen time for a more active experience.

Whether your children are natural jumpers or simply want to have fun with their friends, a trampoline session can be an exciting addition to your PA Day plans.

Why parents may love it: It combines entertainment with physical movement, making it easier to plan an outing that feels like more than just another day at home.

3. Challenge the Family on the Ninja Warrior Course

Have a little competitor at home who loves climbing, balancing, and conquering challenges? The Ninja Warrior attraction could be right up their alley.

Obstacle-based activities encourage participants to test their balance, coordination, strength, and agility while working through different challenges.

You can make it even more entertaining by cheering each other on and seeing who can complete their favourite obstacles.

And remember, PA Day is not an Olympic qualifier. The goal is to have fun, try something new, and enjoy the experience together!

4. Play Glow-in-the-Dark Mini Golf

Looking for something a little different from the usual indoor playground experience? Glow-in-the-dark mini golf adds a colourful twist to a classic activity.

Players can practise their aim, work on their putting skills, and enjoy a friendly competition with siblings or friends.

Mini golf also offers a change of pace between more energetic attractions, making it a great option for families who want variety during their visit.

At AeroSports St. Catharines, glow-in-the-dark mini golf is one of the attractions families can explore as part of their indoor adventure.

Family challenge: Keep score throughout the game and crown one family member the PA Day putting champion.

5. Put Your Reflexes to the Test With Tile Hunt

Think your kids are quick on their feet? Tile Hunt brings speed, movement, and quick reactions into an interactive challenge.

The objective is simple: stay alert, react quickly, and see how well you can keep up with the game.

It is an exciting choice for children who enjoy fast-paced activities and friendly competition. Parents can join in too, turning the game into a family challenge rather than simply watching from the sidelines.

After all, finding out that your child has quicker reflexes than you can be a humbling PA Day experience!

6. Explore Interactive Games With HexaQuest and the Arcade

Not every child wants to spend the entire outing jumping or navigating obstacles. Some prefer interactive games that challenge their attention, coordination, and competitive instincts.

That is where attractions such as HexaQuest and the arcade come into the picture.

HexaQuest offers another interactive experience to explore, while the arcade gives visitors an opportunity to enjoy games with friends and family.

Having different types of attractions available makes it easier to build a visit around your children's interests rather than trying to find one activity everyone enjoys equally.

For families searching for indoor activities in St. Catharines, this variety is one of the biggest advantages of choosing a multi-attraction entertainment venue.

7. Bring Out Your Competitive Side With Dodgeball and Battle Beam

Some family outings are more memorable when everyone gets involved.

Dodgeball adds teamwork, quick reactions, and friendly competition to the mix. Battle Beam, meanwhile, offers a balance-focused challenge for visitors looking to test their skills.

Both attractions provide a different experience from traditional trampoline jumping and can be particularly appealing to kids who enjoy games with a competitive element.

The best part? You do not need to take the scoreboard too seriously. Whether you win or lose, the shared experience is what makes the outing fun.

Check the park's current attraction access requirements before planning your visit.

8. Make It a Family Day Instead of Just a Day Off School

PA Day activities do not have to be exclusively for children. Sometimes, the best way to make the day memorable is for parents, siblings, and friends to join in.

Try a new attraction together, challenge each other at a game, or let the kids choose which activity everyone should attempt next.

A visit to an indoor entertainment centre can give families a chance to spend time together away from their usual routines. It also gives children an opportunity to explore different activities, interact with others, and enjoy a change of scenery.

Whether you visit with your immediate family or arrange a meet-up with friends, a little shared adventure can make an ordinary Monday feel much more special.

Why Choose Indoor Activities for PA Day in St. Catharines?

Ontario weather can be unpredictable, and outdoor plans do not always work out as expected. Indoor activities give families another option when they want to get out of the house without relying on the weather.

Here are a few reasons to consider an indoor outing this PA Day:

• Weather-independent entertainment: Enjoy planned activities without relying on outdoor conditions.
• More variety: Explore different attractions in one venue.
• Active play: Give children opportunities to jump, move, and participate in physical challenges.
• Family bonding: Turn games and activities into shared experiences.
• A break from screens: Offer an alternative to spending the entire day watching videos or playing games at home.

If you are searching for things to do with kids in St. Catharines, a multi-attraction indoor venue can be a convenient way to combine several activities into one outing.
