Kids Birthday Parties in London, Ontario: What to Compare Before You Book
Party venues in London, Ontario all look similar on a booking page. They differ on seven things that decide how the day actually goes: ages and heights, how the time is split, what the per-child price covers, food rules, minimums, lead time and what the adults do. Here is how to compare them.

Party venues in London, Ontario all look similar on a booking page. They differ on seven things that decide how the day actually goes: ages and heights, how the time is split, what the per-child price covers, food rules, minimums, lead time and what the adults do. Here is how to compare them.
Every kids birthday party venue in London, Ontario describes itself the same way online: fun, stress-free, all-inclusive. The booking pages are where the differences hide. This guide lists the seven things that genuinely vary between venues, explains why each one matters, and gives you the question to ask so you can compare like for like.
We run AeroSports London on Wharncliffe Road South, so after the checklist we show how our own packages answer each question, as of November 2026.
1. Ages and height minimums
A venue's "all ages" claim usually means "all ages can enter the building". Attractions have their own rules. Trampoline parks set minimum heights on some courses, go-kart tracks set them for drivers, and soft-play centres set a maximum age or height instead. The question is not whether the birthday child qualifies; it is whether the youngest and shortest guest on the list does.
Ask: "Which attractions have a height or age minimum, and what happens to guests who do not meet it?"
2. Total time, and how it is split
"A two-hour party" can mean two hours of activity with cake squeezed in at a table, or 75 minutes of activity and 45 minutes in a room. Both are fine; they are different parties. Activity time is what the kids remember. Room time is where the cake, the gifts and the group photo happen, and where parents actually get to talk to each other.
Ask: "How many minutes of activity and how many minutes of room time are in the package, and can either be extended?"
3. What the price per child actually covers
Most London venues price parties per child with a minimum number of children. The headline number is only comparable once you know what sits inside it. Pizza and drinks are usually included. Grip socks, invitations, a T-shirt for the birthday child, a return visit, arcade credits or a game on a premium attraction may or may not be. Two packages that look $5 apart can be $15 apart once you add the things one of them leaves out.
Ask: "Is there a per-child list of exactly what is included, and what is the most common add-on parents end up buying?"
4. Private room or shared space
Some packages include a private room with a door; some reserve tables on the main floor. A room matters more than it sounds for younger guests, for gift-opening, and for any parent who wants to sit down. Separately, ask whether the attractions are exclusive to the party. At most indoor parks they are not: the room is yours, the floor is shared with other guests.
Ask: "Is the party room private, and are the attractions shared with the public during our party?"
5. Food rules, allergies and the cake
Nearly every venue lets you bring a cake. Beyond that the rules diverge. Some allow any outside food, some allow a short list (cake, cupcakes, fruit trays), some charge a fee for anything else, and some ban nuts outright. If a guest has an allergy, you need to know whether the venue's kitchen can work around it or whether you should bring that child's food yourself.
Ask: "What outside food is allowed, is there a fee, and how do you handle a guest with a food allergy?"
6. Minimums, headcount deadlines and cancellation
The three dates that cause trouble: when the final headcount is due, when add-ons must be ordered, and the cut-off for a refund. Also check whether non-jumping guests count toward the minimum (usually not) and whether the birthday child counts (usually yes). Weekend afternoons book out first at every venue in the city, so lead time matters too.
Ask: "When is the final headcount due, what is the cancellation policy, and how far ahead are Saturdays booking right now?"
7. What the adults do
At a drop-off party for eight-year-olds, this is your problem alone. At a party for five-year-olds, every guest brings a parent, and the venue needs somewhere for them to be. Some venues let parents onto the floor (often with their own waiver), some have a viewing area, and some have neither. Ask, so you can tell the other parents on the invitation.
Ask: "Where do parents wait, can they join in, and do they need a waiver?"
How AeroSports London answers each one

Our park at 784 Wharncliffe Road South is an indoor adventure park, so a party here is jumping plus the rest of the floor: Valo Jump, the first in Canada and only at our London park, the Ninja Tag maze, the Ninja Warrior course, the Aero Drop airbag jump, Battle Beam, the interactive floor, rock walls, dodgeball, Aero Slam basketball and the arcade. The London birthday party page has the current package table, add-ons and terms; what follows is accurate as of November 2026.
- Ages and heights. Parties suit roughly ages 5 to 14. Our London attractions carry no height minimums, so a shorter guest is not left out; staff direct younger children to the areas that fit them.
- Time. Two packages. Total party time is two hours or two and a half hours, with 75 or 90 minutes of jump time and 45 or 60 minutes in the party room. Extra time may be available on request, subject to the day's bookings.
- What is included per child. Both packages include a party host, one pizza for every five jumpers, a juice box and a water bottle for every jumper, bowls of chips and popcorn, one Valo Jump game and arcade credits per jumper, a glow-in-the-dark T-shirt for the birthday child, digital invitations, a free 30-day pass and return coupons for guests. The top package adds grip socks for every jumper.
- Room. Both packages include a private party room. The attractions are shared with other guests in the park.
- Food. Cake, cupcakes, cookies, fruit and veggie trays, water and juice boxes can be brought in with either package. The top package lets you bring any nut-free food and drinks; with the other, additional outside food carries a fee. Tell us about allergies when you book. Piñatas, confetti and silly string are not allowed.
- Minimums and dates. Packages are priced for a set number of jumpers, and the birthday child counts toward it. Non-jumping guests are welcome in the party room, do not use the attractions and do not count toward the minimum. Parties can be rescheduled within a year with 72 hours' notice; cancellations more than 14 days out receive a gift card. Package changes need 14 days' notice.
- Adults. Parents who are not jumping can watch from the viewing area and common spaces. Any adult who wants to jump needs their own waiver.
Every jumper needs a waiver signed by their own parent or guardian; it is done online before the day and stays valid for a year. Guests should arrive 20 minutes before jump time for check-in and wristbands. Book online or call the park, and check the London promotions page for current party deals. You are welcome to tour the party rooms before you decide; contact the park to set up a time.
A one-page comparison sheet
Copy this into your notes and fill in a column for each venue you are considering:
- Youngest guest's age and height, and whether they clear every minimum
- Minutes of activity, minutes of room time
- Price per child, number of children it covers, and what is included
- Private room: yes or no
- Outside food allowed, fee, allergy process
- Headcount deadline, cancellation cut-off, next free Saturday
- Where parents go, and whether they need a waiver
The venue with the most ticks is not always the right one. The venue that has clear answers to all seven usually is.
How we put this guide together
The seven questions are the ones our London party team is asked most often, in roughly the order parents ask them. AeroSports details were checked against our current packages and terms in November 2026; they change, so the party page is always the final word. For any other venue, ask the same seven questions and compare the answers side by side.
